Homework 12th of November of 2012

What have we made today?
After a non-stop contest about grammar (time in which I was abducted to other planet by some aliens, I was lost), we checked the exercise from the booklet. We made a easy listening from unit 3 and after that we met Wendollin, a charming native US speaker that in her 20's is in a foreign country overseas and working in the "Ortega y Gasset Foundation". The topic brough by Encarni for today was the Election in US. This was not the video, anyway I think it could help:

Wendollin comes from NY, Manhattan, but she studies in Chicago. She introduces briefly and we asked her some questions about her life in Toledo and overseas. Later, Encarni went on with the explanation of the Election process whilst Wendollin commented and added some information and personal expeciencies. She will come back and maybe she will speak about Thanksgiving's day.

What should we do for the next day?
First of all, although Wednesday will be the day of the general strike, Encarni will participate, but in a Japanese way. That means that on Wednesday 14th November, it will be open for those who want to have lesson. Personally I'm not really sure whether I'll go or I'll stay home, anyway I still have enough time to think about... Moving back to the aim of this section, the homework for Wednesday is in our Booklet, "Speaking Mandarin reading task". Exercises a and b.
