Speeches start on Monday!! (some advices)

What have we done?
We checked the exercises from the booklet. And we made a listening activitie from this video

By the way, we spoke a lot about grammar.
Encarni recomended us a good book to improve our writing skills. "Successful Writing", by Virginia Evans. Upper-Intermediate. Express Published.

What should we do for the next day?
1.- Read the reading activity "Freedom of expression" (from the booklet).
2.- Choose an object and tell a story about in a different way (like in the link above). The length, about 180-200 words. It should be for the next Wednesday 7th.

A great hit from the 90's, Trash was a song that I've heard thousand times... and I've loved (and I still do it) the melody. Now I understand the lyrics and I find it not too much difficult.

What have we made today?
Our booklet has been used in a frenzy way!!  First of all, we checked the "Creative writing" - A teacher's opinion. Keys:

We continued with an explanation about simple and perfect infinitive. Two pages ahead, we listened to a song (Midnight Oil - Beds are burning)

What should we make for the next day?
- Personal profile (200 words, more info in the booklet)
- Under the exercise of Creative Writing, there is a rephrasing exercise that must be done.
- The next exercise, is about looking for a mistake.
- And the last exercise ("Arctic Waters"). We have some words (below) which should be modified (with suffix and prefix) and then used for filling the gaps.
